# Transfer Ownership

In ExcellentClaims player can transfer their claims to other players. To do so, a player must have the TRANSFER_OWNERSHIP member permission.

There are 2 ways for players to transfer claims:

Using the claim's GUI with /land settings or /region settings command.
Using the /land transfer or /region transfer command. Requires the command permission as well.

Players can transfer claims to online players only to reduce amount of abandoned claims and possible user mistakes.

# Claim Limits

When transferring a claim, the number of claims a new owner has is taken into account. If a new owner has reached its region, or land limits, the transfer will be cancelled.
