Placement
You can "place" crates in the world by linking them with blocks!
You can link crates with blocks using the editor.
#
Linking Crate
- Open the editor -> Crates -> Select a crate.
- Cclick the Placement button.
- Left click the Assigned Blocks button.
- Click a block to link it with the crate.
Once a crate is successfully linked with a block, you'll see a hologram with particles around that block.
If you're having issues when linking crates with custom Nexo/Oraxen/ItemsAdder's blocks, make sure that it's actually a custom block and not a furniture!
If you want to link a crate with an entity or NPC, the best solution is to assign crate comamnds to it.
#
Holograms
Crates uses hologram templates that you can configure in the config.yml.
By default there are 2 hologram templates: default
and example
.
All new crates created with the default
hologram template assigned to them.
If you renamed or removed it, make sure to assign a valid template for all new crates!
You can add or edit crate's hologram settings using the editor:
- Open the editor -> Crates -> Select a crate.
- Click the Placement button.
There are 3 buttons related to hologram settings:
- Hologram State. Toggles the hologram above crate block.
- Hologram Template. Controls what text hologram will contain.
- Hologram Y Offset. Offsets the hologram by Y axis by specified value. Useful for custom blocks with big sized models.
Use those buttons to manage crate's hologram.
There is no holograms!
If you don't have hologram buttons in the editor, make sure to install hologram requirements.
Otherwise, make sure that you have valid hologram template assigned.
